Beams Plus at Fresh Store

Here we are, back again getting really excited about products at Italy’s premier mens outfitter – Fresh Store.

This time the object of our desire is their range of Made in Japan Beams Plus gear, particularly these shirts. Is that a needle cord? I think it might be needlecord. As the self-appointed president/sole member of the Ancoats Corduroy Appreciation Society, I can say with a real assured authority that these shirts are right up my street.

Fresh have a tendency to mix things up where possible, so it’s perhaps no surprise to see these shirts take pride of place on their website. The entire Beams Plus range itself looks like something a jazz musician from the future would wear while visiting New Orleans in a time machine. Think about that scene for a second.

Few things are cooler in my eyes.

 From fetching knitwear to modern garments, it’s a rounded range with the aforementioned corduroy at its heart.

 I’m off to learn how to play the trumpet anyway.
